The moment mankind understood the implications of aesthetic was when clothing became code for identity itself. The first computer was the loom and the patterns of traditional clothing were the programming which told stories of which community you belonged to, the clans behind the name you bear, and the people you identify with.
Fashion has not changed since then. Our clothes tell the world that we are from the Internet. We are from a world of beautiful chaos. The eyes of the faces in this gallery wear avatars as masks and speak in a language of scavengers who piece together a grand mosaic built from the fragments of ideas broken down and rebuilt into a creation of our own. When this creation is made whole, we shatter it into fragments and rebuild over and over and over again like Tibetan monks making mandalas out of sand.
